So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye!

Remember how I said that I was looking into going self-hosted and moving away from Well it’s been a busy February that’s been full of code, emails, arguments with photoshop, googling, installing social media and transferring nearly 150 posts and 52 comments to their brand new home. But it’s all done, tweaks have been tweaked and widgets installed and I can now reveal that the new home of this blog is:

Why the name change you may ask? Well all my other social media comes under the ‘samcantfindit’ tag and I’m not actually a student any more, sad I know but I want this site to grow with me. There will still be all the student help posts (in fact there’s a huge one coming on Sunday!) along with all the other topics that I love to write about, from travel to food and much more.
Now what do you have to do? Hopefully nothing; as you’re reading this an email is being read by the help desks at both bloglovin and wordpress and followers will be transferred to the new site. However if this does take a few days and you don’t want to miss anything in this time I’ve added the email subscription and bloglovin button so feel free to enter your details or click to follow and you’ll be up to date with the next two weeks of posts. Also within 24 hours a redirect is being set up so if you click an older link or simply forget you’ll still end up on the new shiny site, exciting eh?
I’m really excited about this update and move, the new site is everything I wanted, it’s easy to read new posts, it’s clean and bright and so easy to navigate. I hope you all like it too. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for the past two and a bit years of me mumbling away to you all on this site, from the first posts where I complained about most things to you finding out my favourite recipe book and my ice cream recipes.
So what are you waiting for? Come check it out!
